The Great Ocean Road

Here are a few photos from our trip along the Great Ocean Road yesterday. As you can see we were really blessed with the weather, which made for some breathtaking views! We managed to fit so much into one day, visiting a waterfall, rainforest, The Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge... not to mention stopping off to gawp at the numerous beautiful beaches along the way. We all had an absolutely fantastic time, it'll be a day we'll all remember for a very long time indeed!

Happy Birthday Old Boy

When Cathryn and I found out that Ann and Chris would be here for Chris' birthday, we knew straight away that we wanted to take them to one of the local vineyards, on the Bellarine Peninsula to celebrate it. After a little bit of research, Cathryn decided to book us a table at the Jack Rabbit winery, and what a great choice it was too. The views were absolutely stunning and despite a bit of cloud here and there, we were able make out the Melbourne skyline across Port Phillip Bay. The quality of the food and wine was absolutely sensational, and all four of us were left feeling very full and very, very happy.

We rounded off our visit with a little wine tasting, which resulted in us picking up a couple of bottles of Sauvignon Blanc for the birthday boy! Happy Birthday Pops and thanks for a lovely afternoon x
